Q: Can a good bed really improve your sleep?
A: Yes. A supportive bed with a comfortable mattress prevents your body from sagging when you are asleep, which in turn minimises the amount you toss and turn.
Q: How often should I change my bed?
A: Of course, that’s up to you. But you should change your mattress when it starts to wear – an old mattress will not support your body, and you will sleep badly and wake up with aches and pains.
Q: What size?
A: That depends on two things – how big your room is and how much space you like when you sleep. We even know of customers who buy a king-size bed because their kids jump in with them during the night and they need the space!
Q: Twin or double?
A: Again, it depends on how you sleep. Some couples say they sleep better apart – perhaps one partner turns over a lot, or snores – while others prefer to snuggle.
Q: Should I buy a divan or a framed bed?
A: Again, it’s a personal choice that has a lot to do with the look of your room. Divans are upholstered box with built-in drawers which give handy storage space, but many people are choosing framed beds as a fashion statement.
Q: Do children need good beds?
A: Just as much as you do – even kids can wake up with a sore back! Make sure the bed you buy is robust to stand up to climbing and jumping, and has a good supportive mattress.
Q: Is price important?
A: There are a lot of beds around at the moment that manage to combine strength, durability and low prices, so you don’t need to spend a fortune. We price our beds cheaper than most retailers out there
Q: What’s your top fashion tip?
A: Velvet & Chenille is a real hot ticket at the moment – it’s reasonably priced, but has the luxe feel of great quality. Very chic in a contemporary room.
Q: Do you have delivery restrictions?
A: With regret we do not deliver to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Gwynedd, Dyfed, Shetland, Orkney or the postcodes below:
